There is a gap between the skirting line and the wall, and it will not be treated gradually and for a long time, which is not only harmful to the beauty, but also easy to accumulate dust, etc., and become the dead angle of cleaning at home.

First of all, we need to find out why there is a gap between the skirting line and the wall? There are two reasons. One is that before the installation of the skirting line, the wall surface is not well treated and uneven, which leads to the uneven installation of the skirting; the other is related to the poor technology of the construction master, and the distance between the skirting line and the wall is not well controlled. So how to repair the gap between skirting line and wall?

The first step is to look at the gap between the wall and the skirting line. If the gap is small, we can choose to use neutral glass glue to fill the gap.

After cleaning the dust on the surface, aim at the gap between the wall and the skirting line, and apply the glass glue on it. If it is not completely dried, quickly use your fingers to evenly apply the glass glue along the gap, and wipe off the surplus with a rag, and finally wait for it to dry.

If the gap is relatively large, it can't be solved by glass glue alone. The best way to deal with this situation is to fill the gap with putty, which may not be very beautiful locally; secondly, remove the skirting line, and the wall surface is uneven, then polish and level it, and then carry out the skirting line construction again;

If the skirting line is deformed, the most effective one is to change the skirting line. Of course, you can choose not to install the skirting line, or remove all the skirting lines and change them into embedded skirting lines, so as to avoid the problem of gap with the wall. However, compared with the former, it is more complicated and large in construction.

Therefore, there is no big or small decoration, especially the details must be paid more attention to. Once there is a gap between the skirting line and the wall, don't delay the things that can be solved in the early stage, otherwise the trouble will be bigger.
